Espoir is a school publication that offers news of school events, innovative practices, features personalities that define the Kuo Chuan community and student perspectives on issues that have an impact on the individual and the larger school community. This biannual publication is a product of an innovative EL curriculum which develops relevant skills to face the global landscape. The publication is helmed as a level project where students are introduced to journalistic writing skills. These skills are infused into the EL curriculum with the aim of equipping learners with higher-order skills such as critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills through the processes of journalistic writing.
